Seatoun Arts and Crafts

A group made up of painters, knitters, woodworkers, quilters and many more arts and crafts. We hold informal meetings every third Wednesday of the month from Feb to Nov between 7.30 and 9.30pm where we hear of the work of local artists and crafters or learn a new craft at a ‘give it ago’ session. We welcome all new visitors and members, please contact Gillie on 04-3888056 for further information. 

Scottish Country Dance

Wellington Dance and Performing Arts

We specialise in introducing children to the joy and benefits of dance with a wide range of preschool and beginner classes at Seatoun Village Hall. We offer ballet, jazz, contemporary, singing and acting classes for all ages.

Seatoun Charity Knitting/Crocheting

10am-12noon, every Thursday. Currently creating all sorts of goodies for the Neonates unit at Wellington Hospital, Little Sprouts, Womens Refuge to name a few.   All welcome - great coffee and chat.

Glee Club

A fabulous class run by the very talented Clair. For children aged between 6 - 8.  Music, Dance and Drama.

Community Yoga

Is a self-empowered program set up for women who are still facing personal battles. 'Healing the broken hearted'.

 Steady As You Go

A fabulous class aimed at preventing falls.  Specifically for people over 65 however if falling is something that bothers you come along. Gentle exercises that build leg strength and flexibility. You will be impressed with these classes.  Every Tuesday at 11 am. $2 per class. Now accredited by Sport Wellington as part of the Live Stronger for Longer  campaign.
