Community, families and friends gathered to celebrate the re-opening of the Seatoun Village Hall Community hub. Among the guests were Mayor Celia Wade-Brown, Annette King MP for Rongotai and Councillors Sarah Free, Paul Eagle and Simon Marsh.

Our sincere thanks to groups and individuals who provided displays, entertainment and donated their services for a successful occasion for our opening day.

A New Beginning

Seatoun Village Hall was previously known as St Christopher’s Church and Hall. We officially reopened our doors as a community space for those living on the Miramar Peninsula and throughout Wellington.

Midwinter Gathering

This event (17 June 2016) promoted community participation through food and music provided by Sendam Rawkustra and Friends lead by Andreas Lepper. Thanks to everyone who came and supported this first time event which was enjoyed by all.

Eastern Southern Youth Trust

MPCT have made the Village Hall available to the Eastern Southern Youth Trust (ESYT) for their holiday program on several occasions. This enthusiastic group of children of varying ages from Strathmore has had great fun with dance moves and music, under the expert guidance of their Youth Workers. They held a very enjoyable concert for parents, friends and the community after their summer program to show their talent.
